About the Artist
Olga Ivkin is a highly educated professional artist and iconographer based in Portland, Oregon, USA.
Her work delves into the complexities of human relationships, the connections between individuals, and the interplay between nature and society. At the heart of her art are themes of motherhood, family, and the divine feminine, exploring the nurturing power of women, the earth, and the choices women make as leaders and caretakers. Olga’s art is inspired by the simple yet profound manifestations of divinity in everyday life, encouraging viewers to reconnect with the beauty and mystery often overlooked.
With over 20 years of artistic exploration and 10 years of formal design education, Olga has continuously pursued her passion for visual storytelling. She employs bold, symbolic forms, spiral compositions, intricate ornamental details, and vibrant color palettes to bring her themes to life. Her work balances joy and serenity, offering a visual reflection on the interconnectedness of life, faith, and emotion.
A dedicated mother of five, Olga has always had an Artistic life parallel to her role as a parent. Over time, she transitioned from design to painting and iconography, finding that painting seamlessly integrates with her family life. While she exhibits locally and has been featured in several venues, Olga is driven to expand her artistic presence, preparing radically new for her art project and solo exhibition. Through her art, she hopes to connect with larger audiences and reach collectors who appreciate the depth and symbolism in her work.
